OK, so I eded up finishing the Windowblinds skin on the plain to California. Bringing us to a total of 34 hours on the Windowblinds skin. More then I wanted but not to bad over all. But now from the Starbucks in San Bernardino California. I have the chance to update the blog, and explain why I have been MIA for the last 2 days.

I spent yesterday doing the Icons and the wall, though I want to tweak the wall a bit more so Im not showing it here. Icons ended up takeing about 5 1/2 hours, and I only did the "Core 24" as I call them. they are the Icons you see in the XP start panel, as well as the folders. Anyway. I chose to do these sice this skin, and the Icons, are going to be packaged up in a Theme Manager, and I wanted to keep the file size relatively small. I plan on finishing up the rest of the Iconpack on my own time, and will try and get it up on wincutomize.com sometime in the first week of December.

I ran into a few glitches, which is why the skin took longer then I thought. I got it into my head to animate the XPStartpanel User pane. And ran into a problem with the size. But With help form Adam and Neil we got it working. Also. I decided that I did not like my original Tiltlebars. And had to redo them. And I also redid all the Menus, tab pages, and toolbar backgrounds, to get a good Tiling Pattern for the Snowflakes.

Soon as I am done with the suite, 100% I will post some of the Source file for people to play with.

Here is a Gif of what the animated User Pane looks like.

you are simply the best. Can't wait for it, but if i have to i will wait till 1st of December, but still hoping it gets out earlier.
it really looks awesome, sure some might be a bit overexaggerated, but then again it's holiday and somehow perfectly matching. At least there is absolutely NO useful holliday skin out, so yours will be the first, and a real excellent one.

The anticipation of this skin reminds me of when I was a child waiting for Christmas morning
to open my presents...well at least I can still sleep at night;)
Your work is wonderful...Thank you so much:) I sure wish I could find a cursor that matches
well with the Orion skin. Hint, hint;)

I like it. I too am not that much a fan of the title bars... but I'll admit I like them the more I
look at them. I guess the ornament balls are the only thing I still do not like
as much, but its cool.

I really want to know how you worked out the animation on the XP panel with Adam and friends.
I can see that partr being a megabyte by itself. Maybe some trickery in the coding,
or maybe the frames itself repeat in such a way that it looks like it might be 20 frames but
it really is 10.

Overall I think this is great work you have here. I will defianatly be writing about this one and showing it off.
Your very close to ToonXP my friend, very close.
