Notes:

This was my first long run of this 16 week program. The new EZ pace is a bit faster then I have been doing but I did it with no real problems, It will be interesting to see if it gets easier over the next 3 weeks before it speeds up again.

Got stopped by a older gentlemen on the road, started by telling me that he had ran in his youth and that he was paying for it now, his keens were shot. I told him that I was being careful, and that there had been advances in training techniques, and shoes, that made it safer to run these days. I was about to run off when he told me he wanted to tell me one more thing.
It seams he can give me the address of a "oriental" whom, if I make a crate, and put two hundred more pounds on myself, she will bar-B-Que me, and send me back 200 pounds in gold. Pure gold, he says. Well that would be great except I don't know what I would do with the gold if I had been Bar-B-Qued. After learning this little tid-bit, I decided I better get moving. I told him thank you very much but I think I had enough gold for the time been.
As I moved down the road I began to wonder if I was just miss understanding him, he was a bit gone I'm sure, but maybe he was trying to tell me were to get some good bar-b-que, or a oriental massage. Oh well.

Had a bit of Knee pain again today, am not happy that is not going away. I still do not feel it is bad enough to worrie about. Next week is a bit lighter then this week, I re-evaluate it then.

One week down, 15 to go. still need all the luck I can get.
