Notes:
Today was quite a interesting run, I probably
should have stayed inside, it was very Icy, and I could have very easily hurt
myself. But I seam to have dodged that bullet. Though for most of the run I
could feel my shoes slipping out from under me. I was quite amazed that i was
able to stay on pace, much less finish a bit ahead.
I had to spend allot of time watching my step, and running in the tracks
of the people leaving for work. The last 6th or so of each mile was run over
"virgin" snow, about 2 inches deep. This was the finest part of the run, and
what made me keep going. Another cool thing was that after the first lap, I
could fallow my own prints, It was kind of amazing how uniform the strides were.
Matching my stride became a little game that made the run quite fun. At
one point in the fifth lap I was running through the snow and noticed that all 4
sets of my previous prints were near Identical. And despite the cold and Ice I
had a very nice run.
