Today's run, if not a total failure, was a
disappointment. I was supposed to do 7 miles, but I just could not keep running.
I have no doubt that I could have finished, I just lost all will to keep going.
I'm not sure what my problem is, its almost like I have had some sort of
Anti-breakthrough. This entire week it has been incredibly difficult to get up
and run, and when I get going all I can think about is being done. I think it
might be related to the weather, I have not been able to run outside, without
risking my life. Last weeks long run was incredibly draining, that 5 days later
I am still in a funk. This Sunday I have to do 16miles, and the weather is
looking like it is going to be un-runable. This is also weighing on my mind,
since it mean another 2 and a half hours on the treadmill, which is only
slightly better then running in 1degree weather.
Oh well, time to move on, I have tomorrow off, and with a bit of luck,
that will give me back some wind in my sails.
