Notes:

As I was wrote in my last blog, Saturday was perhaps the lowest point I have had since I began running. I think I had hit bottom, It was the end of the two hardest weeks of my program, and despite my optimistic outlook, It caught up to me.  But also as I mentioned, as I recovered from yesterdays run, I also recovered from my emotional crash. All of the sudden I knew that I could do my long run on Sunday, as originally planed, and I could do it with no problem.

I got up early, and spent the day working. I did not hit the treadmill until 8pm, I spent the 2 hours of Fox's Sunday night lineup on the running. This worked out well, and I only had to do a about 15 minutes to the news.

To further spice up the run, at 8 miles I began adding .1 mph to my pace each mile, this got me to a 8 minute mile by the end of American Dad. The last mile I gradually stepped it back down to the 8:55 I was supposed to be doing.  I finished up the run in much better spirits then I began it.

Without planning to, my Saturday run made up for the run I missed on Tuesday, and even for the mile I missed on Friday. This also let me finish my Last 5 day week with 5 days of running. For the last 4 weeks of this program I only have 3 more runs that concern me, my last 20+ run, my last Yasso 800's, and the 12 miler on week 14 which I plan on doing at race pace.

This weekend was quite a rollercoaster for me, but I think I made it back up the hill. All I can do is hope that i don't hit the next wall until after the Marathon.
